Why San Diego?

San Diego is the first in the nation to apply the Smart Grid concepts developed by the U.S. Department of Energy's Modern Grid Initiative to a specific region. It provides preliminary analysis to determine the technical feasibility and cost effectiveness of implementing Smart Grid technologies and strategies in the San Diego Region. San Diego Gas & Electric has always been a forward looking utility and has took the industry lead by installing 1.4 million electric smart meters. Join us for Grid ComForum West 2012 to see how SDG&E is leading the charge in Smart Grid deployment.
