San Diego Gas & Electric, University of California San Diego, University of San Diego, and San Diego State University were pleased to host GCF West at The Westin San Diego on March 7-9, 2012.

GCF West was a conference for industry participants - utilities, regulators, analysts, and vendors - involved in Smart Grid technology deployment.

The program was organized by the International Engineering Consortium (IEC) in partnership with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department Heads Association (ECEDHA).

The program was broken down into two segments:

• Wednesday, March 7 - SDG&E's internal education program open only to SDG&E employees, their invited guests, and select sponsors.
• Thursday and Friday, March 8-9 - Targeted programming open to all industry participants
