Call for Session Proposals
Duke Energy and Progress Energy will host GCF East 2012, the East Coast edition of the 2012 Grid ComForum Series, on May 22-24. Proposals for panel sessions are now being accepted by the International Engineering Consortium, the event organizer. This Call for Session Proposals provides a description of the program and instructions for submitting proposals. The deadline for submitting a session proposal is Friday, December 16, 2011.
Program Structure
GCF East 2012 is a three-day program organized by the International Engineering Consortium (IEC) and hosted by Duke Energy and Progress Energy. The first day of the program will be tailored to meet the needs of Duke Energy and Progress Energy professionals and stakeholders, and will feature sessions targeting their specific interests. The second and third days will be an industry forum featuring keynote speakers and panel sessions.
Proposals are invited for the breakout panel sessions planned for the industry forum on the second and third days. These sessions are ninety-minute moderated discussions for executives and managers responsible for next-generation grid deployment and operation. Refer to the list of tracks and topics below for guidance on panel subject areas.
